Rhiannon & Telescope Jan2010-smHello again!!  How are you, after the holiday season is over?  Have you noticed that the days are getting longer?  Are you excited to start getting more blogs from us again?  It’s snowy again today, after many days where it was so warm and sunny here.  We’ve all been wonderfully busy here, Papa and Mama Kiva working on the conference and with students, and Mama Loba and I doing Winter type stuff like finally organizing and cleaning the storage area we call the library (because it has so many books in it of course!).

I have been looking though my powerful telescope that Resolute got me, before the moon is up, when I am best able to see stars. I think I may have seen one of the stars on Orion’s belt even! I love astronomy. A friend of mine Sabrina came down that night and we both got to look through the telescope.  We had lots of fun looking at stars. She also showed me some constellations I hadn’t seen before, like Orion’s belt. We used both our eyes, the binoculars and the telescope. I also have a “Turn Left at Orion” book and its very nice to use cause it also shows how to spot things with a small telescope. Like Cassiopeia, and the galaxy Andromeda. I am certainly very thankful to Resolute for such a special gift! :) It’s very lovely having a telescope, I look in it when ever I have time. Looking at the stars is saticfying it gives me a feeling that I’m that I’m fulfilling something.

I also love studying Folklore, History, and many different kinds of Sicience’s I think I’ll be a scolar when I grow up. Papa has been doing lot’s of history with me, just a little bit ago he got me three history books full of interesting history. I drink up knowledge like a spunge!  Still, I think that pretty much my favorite study of all things is Astronomy.

This is a picture of my new friend Che, another home schooled wild child who is going to visit me maybe next month.  She sent me a handmade doll me had made me she used pipecleaners to make it. It’s amazing it has beautiful clothes she had sewed on to it and it even has two pairs of shoes one pair yellow and the other purple. I named her Azul. The word Azul is a spanish word, it means blue (Mama Loba teaches me some Spanish), for she has a blue braid with a little wreath on top of it. I have a brightly colored puppet, that’s a duck it’s tiny like her and has purple wings it’s name is Lola. It matches her well so I pretend they’re friends. It’s nice to have her around cause there’s lots of other dolls I have that are her size plus a paper doll I made. So she had lots of friends.  :)   The other dolls names are Nina, Larua, May, and Lissa. All about her size.  Papa will put a picture of me and Azul too.

Papa posted another piece of his essay on dangerous Pitfalls.  I hope you will all read and benefit from it, because you have to know the pitfalls so you don’t waste time falling into them you know!

I hope every one is having a wonderful winter!!!!

Holiday Sledding & a Thankful Otter – by Rhiannon (9)

Rhiannon Solstice2009-sm

Hello Everyone!  How are you??  I sure hope you had a very wonderful holiday week!  I sure have!

We get very little snow here these years, so yesterday for the first time in my life I got to sled! With our little plastic sled me and Mama Loba went over to a mountain I call the hundred acre wood. So we sledded for a while then she left me playing on the sled. I had brought my three stuffed otters Rhiannon, Sabrina, and Mabella so I was able to put them in the sled including my sea otter bag, a kerchief, hat, a silk bandana and me. Then go sledding down the mountain.

When Mama Loba wolf-howled for me ( as she always does when it’s time for me to come back from my play time) I just climbed in to the sled and went down the mountain I was able to sled most of the way home. I did crash twice on the adventure and hurt myself a bit but you can’t have fun if you don’t take a chance on hurting, and you learn important lessons that way.  Sometimes the lesson is just to wake up and pay attention!

It had been Papa’s idea for us to bring the sled, It had only snowed 1-2 inches but he said we could slide around in the sled probably so we went it tried he was definitely right we could speed down the mountain! Also not to long ago Mama Kiva and Papa got me a pair of reindeer boots in a trade from our cool friend Sasha, they have “real” reindeer fur on them its amazing I wear them all the time. In fact I’m wearing them right now and am sitting with my new stuffed otter Mabella with me. I sure love them, they are in wonderful shape for being so old they’re all the way from the 60’s. They should last me a long time :) !!!
I don’t relate much to the Santa thing I tell you, but I do love all kinds of holidays and celebrations, and chances to give thanks for the blessings of the world. I brought a juniper branch in instead of a tree, and Mama Loba and I made incredible yummy ginger bread fantasy.  See the picture:

Loba & Gingerbread Doll-sm

And I love presents of course, like the amazing Resolute astromony telescope I will be writing about here later, and the Solstice gifts I got including the hand felted (that’s pressed wool you know) bag with an otter on it, and my newest stuffed river otter Maybella, and a certificat that says I donated to the protection of the otters and have sort of adopted one.  I actually plan to start a campaign to bring river otters back to our river and I will be writing about it here and asking for your ideas and help of course!  Thank you to everybody who has been so good to me and us, you know who you are!

Solstice Deco 2009-sm

I have lots of things to take care of today, I will write another blog post soon.  Life is very full, and that’s a good thing.

Happy Magical Holidays to you, we love you!

Autumnal Greetings! – from Rhiannon

PapaRhiannon-smAutumnal Greetings!

Autumn is  such a wonderful time of year. I sure appreciate the cold mornings after the long hot summer.  There he goes again, the chipmunk, Sunshine keeps on poking his head in at the window. He comes over in front of our windows to chew on grass when the sun rises so we have named him Sunshine. He’s no pet and we never get to pet him but it’s fun to watch as he scurries over the rocks nibbling at plants. There was one morning that I was writing in my diary a saw a woodpecker pecking at a juniper tree, I named her Woody. I shouldn’t have  named her I never saw her again and I do miss her. A few days ago when I was getting over a bad chest cold it snowed a little. Though it was beautiful it didn’t last long and melted when it touched the ground. Sometimes I’m envious of the people in Canada with all the snow they get.

Not that long ago Papa got me these cartoon books, they ‘re called Calvin and Hobbes. I am crazy about them, there are two books I have. I even am doing some things that Calvin and Hobbes did like for example they started a club called GROSS get rid of slimy girls club  well I did quite the oposite I made a Tree Star club. Calvin certainly was not very nice to girls but he was at that age he was six. Hobbes was his stuffed tiger, but Calvin was always pretending. So he pretended Hobbes was really alive could talk and sleep and play. So Hobbes was like his pretend best friend. I was jealous of Calvin and Hobbes, so now I have my own little stuffed fox named Farn. We have a high tree that we  can climb up and play in. I called the Tree Star club cause, well for one it’s a tree, for two at night I watch stars in it till it’s my bedtime.

Lately I have been very interested in astronmy I love astromny. Papa got me a space book that had all kinds of projects and stuff. Now I’ve made a astromners log and sighting tube. Papa lets me borrow his best binoaclers too! So often at night unless I have a new book I star gaze and write notes in my astromners log. Papa also bought me a matress, which feels great on my back! Gosh I’m so spoiled and well cared for. At the same time as he got me my matress Papa got me a small world globe, oh my goodness I could not express my joy. I had always wanted one of those. So now I’m using it with school, to help me with both my penmen ship and geograpy I’m writing a story of me going all over the world going to different places like Spain and Norway and stuff which is really fun for me.

We have been listening a lot to RISE and Arborea beacuse they are coming to the herbal conference but also just because they are so good.  Arborea is like the music of the forest spirits or something, if forest spirits played trippy banjo and faeries sang like Shanti.  They will be bringing their children Liam and Shyla and I hope I get to meet them and show them my canyon ways!  RISE is just so good for dancing, it really makes me want to get up and move!

Rhiannon Dancing-magical-sm

Speaking of dancing, we sure had fun on Halloween, or Samhain as the ancient Celtic people named it.  I dressed up as ghost for fun and then a dressed as a Greenlady and Mama Loba did to. We had a leaf dance to were we gathered a whole bunch of leafes before Samain itself then we had a dance were somebody was the leafer and the other was a dancer and we took turns. The leafer was the person who threw leafes at the dancer as she danced. Mama Kiva was the fluter she played the flute while we danced and threw leafes. It sure was a wonderful celebration of the changing season. I hope you all enjoyed yours as well, but remember that every day is a day to celebrate too!

And please check out Papa’s next insalment of Pitfalls, you got to appreciate the help not stepping in them!

Love to all of you,

Owl, Whistles & Love – by Rhiannon

rhiannonwithowlembroidery-sm.jpg

WHISTLES:

Now I mean penny whistles (or tin whistles) not just some body whistling. I love penny whistles, at first I fancied bagpipes. I wanted the Irish small pipes that were in Moor Child. Mama Kiva got me a music dvd so I could hear how they sound. I decided I didn’t terribly like the sound. Besides they are hard to get and are expensive. So right now I’m content with penny whistles and flutes. The flute I have right now is side blown and I can’t play it very well but I’m getting better at it. I can now play sally gardens on my penny whistles!  Sally gardens is one of my favorite songs, I’m hoping to learn how to sing it too soon.

I will have to add more of my favorite singers to my list besides the sad Kentucky Blue grass songs. Tom Russell is another one of my favorites he makes some very good songs. Tori I think you all know I love, and the bands of Omnia and Fawn are some other favorites. All a rather strange mixture, but you can love mandilons and penny whistles at the same time. I’ve always liked a mixture of celtic, german, and Irish songs but is wasn’t untill Mama Kiva  got me the dvd’s of Fawn and Omnia That I went crazy over all of those songs.

rhiannonresolutesept2009-sm.jpg

THE DESK, RESOLUTE & OWL:
We had a desk that had been sitting out side for weeks, waiting to be used. Papa put up shelves and that night I helped him put my books up. After that Papa went and got the desk and put it underneath the treehouse. So I’d have a work space to read and work at. The desk also has drawers, so I put drawing materials in the top one and toys and things in the other two.

I was so excited when Resolute got here deciding to stay about 10 days. As a gift for her I made her a owl embroidery and me and Mama Loba glued ribbon around it and put it in a frame. We are going to miss her. We had a incredibble time up on the Owl mountain, we picked rose hips and yarrow and indeed had a lovely picnic and I made Mama Kiva and Resolute invitations with fancy lettering. Which was lot’s of fun. I’ll never forget the lovely mint chocolate pie we had with it.

rhiannonowlembroidery2-sm.jpg

BOOK:

We continue to do what we can to get our book out, I’m a Medicine Woman Too!.  A nice woman named Kathy reviewed it for the upcoming SageWoman magazine so that could help, and our friend faery artist Katlyn from Mermade Arts is going to announce it to all her friends and clients.  If you could mention it to people that would be great too!!

12-headonhands-sm.jpg

LOVE:

I just want you to know that I love all of you!  You are my bigger Anima family.  My friends and tribe!  Sure do wish you the courage to make your life as magical and purpose full and fun as mine!

Otter Hugs,

Rhiannon’s Post – Birthdays and other happy things!

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

 rhiannonface-sm.jpg

Hello Everyone!  Time for a new blog:

Happy Birthdays:

I just had my 9th birth day last week. It was so fun! I can’t possibly list all of the things we had. Here are the things I remember:

Mussels
shrimp
scallops
cherry cordial
salad
we put red wine, cheese, olives, and a delicious honey mustard dressing
in the salad. I’m sure we had more, but I cannot remember. I will not forget the taste of those delicious mussels. They were amazing! I can tell you easily what we had for dessert:
Cherry pie
peach vanilla ice cream
We ate this delicious homemade dessert, while listening to the Fawn music Mama Kiva had brought over in her computer. I had a wonderful birthday. For my birthday Mama Loba gave me a beautiful map she had made. Of the canyon and my pretend world. She burnt the edges and cut them to give it a old fashioned look. She soaked the paper in water then rolled it up with blue (Blue is my favorite color) ribbon. Mama Kiva gave me two penny whistles and a flute. Which I love I play them every day. I’m still working on flute. It’s a Side blown flute, So it’s kind of hard to make a sound on it. But just yesterday evening I was able to make a sound on it!  I’m also practicing on the penny whistles and the flute a lot.  So many activities! Also after supper I got watch some DvD’s of music showing a band I think they were called the Fawn. There were lots of interesting instruments but I was most interested in watching the woman who was playing the bagpipes. I also got to hear one of my favorite songs called yano estacodo. One of the things Silver sent me was a piggy bank for my birthday.  I’m still gathering money for my house fund. Another thing Silver got me was a pretty pink shawl dress, it has no straps and I’ve been wanting one for a while I’m so glad to have it. :) She also gave a little necklace it does not have any beeds it’s just a plain piece of green fabric tied together to make a necklace but it has a shell at the end of it. I love it and I wear it every day. She also sent me a lovely card studded with beeds. She sewed the beeds on to the paper then glued some pretty lumps of glass on too! It was a very pretty birthday card. Then my dear friend Henry sent me some Mexican money. Angie sent me a beautiful birthday card, and Phil sent me a picture from a newspaper of a otter with a sweet card too!

Rain Ditches:

Here’s a picture of me keeping the ditches clear of mud so we don’t get water in the house when it storms!   It makes me strong and makes me feel like I’m doing a lot to help my special home!

rhiannonditchdigging1-sm.jpg

Books:
I’m making a book called The History of Vilu Daskar the Great.  It’s going to be a novel. It may not be as long as most novels but I’m hoping it will be pretty long. My favorite books at the moment are:
The Treasury of Beatrix Potter
Wise Child
The Moor Child
his dark materiels
Redwall
Fire arrow
East
I’m sure there’s others but that’s all I can remember. When I’m done with the book of Vilu Daskar I think I’ll have to put it up there too. It’s going to be a very nice book. I’m excited to have it done, and I already have 18 pages. I try to work on it every day. Speaking of books our friend Silver has just got me a book on fairy’s. It’s about all of the different fairy’s in the world. It’s called The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Fairies. She got it for my birthday. It’s fascinating I even drew a picture from it!
Early Fall !:
I woke up one morning to find that it was quite cold, and windier then usual, like it was Fall.  Sadly, it cold mean that the monsoons are done. As much as we welcome early winds on a hot day, we also find much pleasure in getting  a nice shower. Not only does it cool you off, but it fills the barrels and sometimes brings a welcome rainbow. Wind can’t fill barrels! There’s still some hope, we’re hoping that we’ll get fall rains like last year. So far the clouds show no sign of letting go of whatever rain they had packed inside their misty bodies. Sometimes to our relief between 2:00 and 3:00 the clouds come in to shade us from the sun. Though the clouds have not rained so far, but I guess we should be grateful for the rain we did get a while ago and be still more grateful the clouds sometimes shade us.

There is so much to talk about. I hope you enjoy this blog post.

First Soup! Cooking, Learning & Swimming – by Rhiannon

Soup!

I got to make my  first soup two days ago! It was very exciting, I had been wanting to make my own soup for a long time. Mama Loba had asked me if I wanted to help her make some chicken soup, but I started talking about how nice it would be to just throw things in and make my very own soup, and she said I could make it that very day and it was delishous! We also cooked on the our old wood stove  we have which was wonderful. After that we went to the river. It was so nice to come all cooled off from the river to get to eat the soup. Soup always seems so soothing when you’re cold or sick.

Here are some of the ingredients:
rosemary
leaks
redwine
onions
celery
turnips
thyme
lovage
apples
lemon juice
ground beef
It was a bit sour  when we tasted it so we added:
more ground beef
egg yolk
demi glace
The next night I wanted to make it a little different, so we added:
tahini
sauerkraut
chedar chesse
more apples
and a garnish of creasy greens.

rhiannoninbeaverpond2-sm.jpgSwimming!

Just yesterday me and Mama Loba went swimming in the beaver dam we have. It’s so nice knowing how to swim!  Mama Loba had gone far ahead of me, and left me swimming around. I know how to swim but I swim to hard and use a lot of energy so I swam for a log sticking out of the water and hung on to it for a while calming my self down cause the water had gone over my head more than once, and I would have to remind myself that knew how to hold my breath under water. So Mama Loba said she’ll try to teach me how to swim with out useing up to much of my energy.

I’m Learning!
I’ve been getting so much better at spelling and math!  I’ve finally learned how to write knowledge and column without any problem at all. :) Also my drawing have been getting so much better!  I have been drawing a lot too! I love drawing. :)

Yucca Blossoms!

The yuccas are blooming right now. We are going to have a yuka blossom party soon! I love parties. So would every playful otter like me!  We have been very busy so it’s been hard to get to spring clean, but we’re trying to get time.:) Every thing is getting so green!  I pause in my writing every now and then to look down at the now green covered cottenwood  trees. Our blackbearies that we’re trying to coax to grow here have thorns and are sprouting out of the ground, and my strawbearie plant I have is making straw bearies. Yaya! Happy spring day!

Spring Nettles & Cooking – By Rhiannon Cadhla Hardin (age 8.7)

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009

resoluterhiannon-sm.jpgSpring Nettles!!!
This is the best nettles year we’ve since I’ve been here. We are hurrying to pick them before they get tough, taller, (which makes them harder to pick) and get seeds.  There has been a lot of people coming and going so it’s a bit hard to keep a routine of picking nettles every day.:) We try to  get at least a bag full of nettles every day. We can make all kinds of delicious things with nettles. Not to long ago we made nettles dip pan cakes! It was soooooooooooo good, if it hadn’t been for my belly reminding me not to eat to much I would have ate them all.  I also wrote a Report on nettles:

Nettles are a wonderful plant full of nutrition and many other things. I will tell you about its medicinal properties and food uses.  The nettles botanical name is Urtica dioica.  Nettles contain formic acid, histamine, acetylcholine, vitamins A and C, minerals and other things. Nettles are highly nutritious, high in vitamins and minerals, particularly iron, silica and potassium, and have been used for centuries as a nourishing tonic for weakness and debility and other things.  Nettle juice applied to the skin relieves bites and stings,  including nettle sting. The stinging hairs of the fresh nettle contain formic acid and histamine and have been used traditionally to stimulate the circulation and relieve arthritiis and other things.  It blooms early to mid spring. We love picking them, especially when they’re little. We like to make nettle dip, and not too long ago we made nettle quiche.  This is the very best nettle year we’ve had since I’ve been in New Mexico. Nettles are good in many ways. You can make nettle soup or have plain nettles on the side with butter and salt. Picking nettles is one the jobs I really like! I try to get at least a bag full every day. Its a lot faster if you wear  gloves when you’re picking them and if you don’t ow! Though there is ways you can pick them with out gloves and not get stung. It’s so nice to think of sitting on a stool eating warm nettle soup on a winters day. Yum! They also are very pretty! I love taking a rest some times and looking at the nettles. How beautiful you are!

I hope this inspires you to use nettles in many ways. Now that you know nettles can be used both in medicine and food.

rhiannonswimcake1.jpgSpring cooking!
I have been writeing a cook book, like my Mama Loba. I’m very excited one of the recipes that I’ve made goes like this:

1/2 cup melted butter or oil
1 egg
3 Tbs. brown sugar
1/4  tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
For Anise Cinnamon Crust- add 1 tsp.
grated ornge peel, 1/4 tsp. anise extract,
1 heaping 1/2 tsp. cinnamon.

Other Optional Additions:
lemon peel
fresh or dried ginger
cocoa powder chocolate chips
kahlua
crystalized ginger
honey
coconut flour.
mix the wet things in first then add the dry things.
form in to cookies and put on a greased cookie sheet.
Then put in a 350 degree oven for about 10 minuets.
Take out and enjoy.
I hope you all are inspired to use and enjoy the recipe.  Goodbye for now!  I’m off to my treehouse…

Spring Winds – Canyon Updates by Rhiannon

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

rhiannonpapa-sm.jpgHello!
It sure has been windy, but it’s not the normal wintery winds. It’s Spring winds, even though it’s Winter. It’s very nice to have the feel of the light breeze caressing me. It’s definitely a wonderful gift. It has been very nice weather, very sunny.  I’m usually fairly warm when I go on my alone time, though it’s quite cold in the morning.

Gifts
Yes! Lots of gifts. I’m making a embroidery for a nice woman who gave me a wonderful robe and some other wonderful things. I also made her stationary with her name written on it, though I haven’t given it to her yet. Mama Loba also made a pillow for a really really nice man named Marc who’s doing all kinds of wonderful helpful things to help us. I’m sure Papa’s already told you all about it. A really nice woman named Meya sent me a wonderful little teddy bear, which I’ve named Isabella. I love it! It’s the cutest little teddy bear. Me and Mama Loba love it. :)   It’s the only stuffed animal Mama Loba doesn’t mind on the kitchen counters. So thanks to Meya. :)

Cooking  &  Fun
I’m learning all kinds of fun cooking and when Mama Loba’s really busy I can make my own dessert or snack! I can also light a fire! Though I don’t really like doing that. But I’ll learn to get a better attitude. :) Anyway, I’m hoping to get up early one of these days soon to do the bread baking all by myself before Mama Loba gets up! We’ll see how that works out!  Speaking of learning, not too long ago I learned how to ride a four -wheeler all by myself! Papa wasn’t even with me! Well, I mean he was right behind me on a different four wheeler, but he wasn’t on the four wheeler I was driving, right up a big rocky hill.  :) ! After that I was so proud of myself, and so was Papa. I went and told every one about it.

Singing ~Songs!
I have been learning to sing all kinds of songs. And learning quick too. :) It’s very exciting. Every time I learn a new paragraph or line I sing it to Papa. The new songs I’ve learned so far are Wayfaring Stranger, and Eastern Kentucky. I’m also will be learning And You’ll Be My Own True Love soon, the song from the Cold Mountain movie. All of the songs I’ve learned so far are Appalachian songs or you could call them old timey. Tis funny though, that all the songs I’ve learned yet are sad. You all know I’m a fun loving otter so you wouldn’t think I’d like sad songs so much.

Creating & Reading Books
I’m almost done editing a book I wrote and illustrated called Luke The Warrior. I’m making a copy of the book for myself. I sent the first one to my cousin Ben for Solstice. I liked the little book so much that I decided to make one for myself. After I had sent that off, I began starting one for myself. It’s amazing I did all the pictures for the book myself and the writing and some of the editing. The story is about this young mouse whose mother is killed by Dragon, a mountain lion, and her mate Fire. It’s about how the mountain lions try to take over the woodlanders land. It also taught some good lessons. Me and Mama Loba have been working on a scrap book. It is full of pretty pictures and remembrances so that when I grow up I’ll remember all the fun things I did with my parents when I was little.  Cause I don’t want to ever forget all the fun things and walks we did. We also made home made glue and used it to make the scrap book!:) We add things to the scrap book every time an exciting fun thing we don’t want to forget comes into our lives.

Sending you Canyon Love until next time!

Rhiannon

P.S.  To Suzen, Danu, Dave & Sierra
Thank you so much  for the comments to my last blog!  You are so sweet!  My Papa sure looked hard for those boots. They are indeed very comfortable. What a wonderful winter solstice I had.  I hope you had a wonderful winter solstice too!  I love sharing my world with you all.  I send my love and best wishes.

From Rhiannon – Solstice Tales!

rhiannoncanyonwarrior1-sm.jpgHello! Sorry I’ve taken so long to send out another blogpost! I hope you all are doing great!!

Snow & Rain

We have been getting a lot of rain, snow too! It’s so fun to watch the snow falling, rolling, playing in it is just wonderful fun. Most of the snow melted when it hit the ground but still just standing outside and feeling the snow hit your face… it’s like a dream waking to the sound of rain pattering on the roof then in the morning rushing outside to play in it. Rain is a wonderful thing, especially to an otter, water falling from the sky! Plus it helps the plants to grow.

Awareness!

Always be aware! Papa’s talked about this too in his books. Recently, I stopped playing with my pretend friends all the time. Papa told me that if I wanted to grow up fully aware of what’s around me I had to be in the real world, not thinking about my pretend friends all the time. He wasn’t trying to chase my pretend friends away, he was actually trying to help me. He said I would have a richer and happier adulthood if I started practicing being fully Aware! So maybe you can learn that too.

Canyon Boots!
Papa just got me the beautifulest  boots! For me! They are the prettyest boots I’ve ever seen. They are just perfect boots for an otter and they have little beads and real leather. Papa looked all over the place for them! Papa is SO sweet!!!!

Winter Solstice… and Painted Rocks!
Winter Solstice is so wonderful. I’ve been painting rocks and sending the painted rocks to people. The first rock I made was a bit mess but oh well, the first one can’t always be perfect. Winter Solstice have always been one of my favorite holidays although I do mess the fresh spring and summer plants. But always remember that every day is a special day.

It’s been great talking to you!

Love, Rhiannon

Five Happy Weeks!

Sunday, April 6th, 2008

fivehappyweeks3sm.jpgWelcome to my next blog post. The picture was taken by my Papa for Mama Kiva’s book, but I’ve had 5 Happy Weeks too!! It’s been a great month, schoolwork has been getting easier, and the river is warm and low enough again to play in! This time I will tell you about my pretend friends, if that’s interesting. Now there is Tabitha Twichit Hardin and her many kittens. She works in my tree house, which has a huge menu where many other cats come to and pick out things from the menu and get them for only 2 cents!. Anyway, she’s a very busy cat. She has kittens to look after because they are always getting in mischief. I also have Sloth and Reasthead and the polarbears. Sloth and Reasthead are these two sloths who are usually just going chitter chater chitter chatter. Now the polar bears are always having pizza, laughing , playing music, having all kinds of fun. I also have all of the pretend friend cats all through my pretend town. I just have millions of them allover the place. I love cats but not all of my pretend friends are cats. I have polar bears, chipmunks. rats. mice. and many others. If I had nothing but cats they would take over the place you know. I love my pretend world very much, it’s a wonderfull place. I love to share it with other people. Have you seen the picture of the cat with the top hat? There was also another cat who was really half human, half cat, There was also another one, too. The other one was white and held a little box. If you haven’t you really should. Its a wonderful picture. If you have Il’l tell you that my papa made it, and he made it for me, which is very very sweet of him.

crossingsm.jpgLook at how steep the trail is driving the jeep in now!  SPRING HAS COME BACK! I am very excited about Spring coming back. All the chipmunks have come back. And the flowers came back too. It got all sunny again. And the chipmunks are just so cute. They will just sit on a log and wag their tails and wash their paws. Spring is a wonderful season. And welcome Shay, you’ll be here soon! Thank you for reading my post. LOVE, RHIANNON (Im seven years old)
