If you are enthused about the work of Animá – the ways that we have benefitted you or the assistance and opportunities that we provide others – then please do what you can to get the word out to those most able to give back as well as to those most in need. Working on a donations basis, we have no ad budget, making the efforts of allies like yourself all the more crucial!

With your aid we can see this project and community continue to grow, bringing together ever more people focused on healing, nature and creating a new paradigm. Please look over this page and decide what ways you would personally be comfortable and happy to help.

Possibilities for you to choose from include:

1. Post a General Animá Announcement and invite as well as specific program or event updates on your Facebook/Myspace/Twitter pages, and post a permanent link to the Animá Website there. Make use of all social networking tools to let like minded or like hearted folks know about what all is offered, from courses and books to events, counsel and consultations.

2. Post a general Animá announcement/invite as well as program and event updates on any health, nature or environmental forums and newsletters you know of, and make public announcements at any Auduban, Herbalist, Native Plant Society and United Plant Savers meetings and gatherings, and at any conferences or event you attend.

3. Send a template letter to your friends, customers or associates about Animá Lifeways & Herbal opportunities, or click here for a General Animá Announcement with the Animá logo. Tell them why you feel this event will be extra meaningful as well as fun.

4. Dress up any post, email, blog, newsletter or website by copying and pasting the attractive Animá banner or buttons provided on this page. Click here to advance to the Banner & Button Section of this page.

5. Download, print & distribute the Animá brochures & posters, with particular emphasis on getting them up in healing centers, herb stores, whole foods markets, women’s centers, universities and cooperatives. 6. Encourage any magazines in your area to write about the Animá school and teachings, or to interview Kiva or Jesse, focusing on the life changing and healing aspects. Or else trust your inner writer, and compose an article on this work yourself. Either way, please send us contact information for national or regional publications that you can recommend us getting ahold of.

7. Forward Animá and Medicine Woman blog posts to your mailing lists and post them on FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace etc.. Copy and share any of the articles found on this website, making sure to please include the credit AND website address before sending them out. Obtain extra copies of the Animá books to donate to libraries and loan or give to friends.

Help with Internet Outreach & Research

The internet is the widest-reaching of all Animá outreach, and you can help by:

• Posting Animá events and opportunities announcements on FaceBook, forums etc..

• Posting personal Animá insights and stories on social networking sights like FaceBook, Twitter and MySpace, as well as on any discussion forums or chat rooms you already belong to.

• Searching out new forums, yahoo groups and chat rooms where you can share Animá insights, stories and opportunities, beginning with those focused on self growth, spirituality, women’s issues, nature, ecology, environment, wilderness, sustainability, primitive skills, wild foods, nutrition, medicinal herbs and natural healing.

• Setting up Animá forums/discussion rooms online.

• Search out regional or national magazines that you can recommend we submit our writing to.

• Announce Animá opportunities in the newsletters of groups or organizations you belong to.

• Tell the people your friends and people you meet about Animá, and especially about whatever beneficial effects you’ve had from studying, practicing or participating in group events here.

Our trifold Animá brochures are excellent overviews of what is offered, and are perfect for leaving in stacks in hip cafes, the info section of learning and healing centers, on tables at conferences etc. You will also need them if you ever contact potential sponsors or supporters for us.

Posters very effective for reaching more people. We have both a color and B&W version of our 8.5X11” general Animá flyer, as well as special ones for the Correspondence Courses and each of the three group events. Please consider downloading, printing and photocopying any or all of the flyers below, and posting them while on your normal trips around town. Note that flyers often get taken down or covered over within a week of posting, and need to be replaced periodically.
